The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Dies in a Los Angeles Traffic Collision
Vince Zampella, who helped create the globally famous video game Call of Duty, has died in a traffic collision in Los Angeles, California he was 55 years old.
His passing was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, the development studio that he helped create.
The influential video game developer passed away following his car crashed and burst into flames on a freeway in the Los Angeles area on Sunday, US media outlets report.
"We are facing a heartbreaking loss, and our hearts are with his family and friends, those closest to him, and everyone impacted by his creative vision," a spokesperson for Electronic Arts said.
