Passionate supporters of the actress are calling for that a individual who leaped a barrier and seized the celebrity during the recent Wicked: For Good premiere be detained or expelled from Singapore.

A viral footage shows the Australian man shoving aside photographers and rushing toward Grande while the performers proceeded down a promenade flanked by onlookers.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo promptly wrested the stunned actress away from Mr Wen, who was observed being escorted out of the event by event staff.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram Thursday evening that he was "free after being arrested", though official papers revealed that he was scheduled to be present on Friday morning. It is unknown if he was faced legal action.

Pattern of Incidents

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Troll Most Hated", has invaded a concert or event. His Instagram account contains clips of him disturbing other high-profile occasions, including jumping on stage at the artist's Sydney show in recently and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers concert in the area last year.

"Measures must be taken enforced against him as this is evidently a criminal offence," stated an Instagram commenter, in a message to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his act.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" one Instagram user questioned.

Fans Express Concern Over Ariana's Safety

Many supporters blamed Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had discussed suffering from PTSD after a devastating incident at the conclusion of her May 2017 show in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and harming many.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" commented a further comment on Instagram.

Some attendees also criticised security officers at the gathering for not being adequately prepared; while different individuals called for social media platforms to remove Mr Wen's videos.

Reaction and Premiere Information

In footage shared widely, Grande appeared startled when she was approached by the man. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed consoling her while Mr Wen was removed by security.

Grande has not commented on the event, and the premiere activities carried on uninterrupted.

Hundreds of attendees had congregated in a crowd of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good regional launch in a Singapore venue, including some who had stood in line for as long as many hours before it started.

The film, to be premiered on 21 November, is the second of a two-film adaptation of the well-known Broadway and West End production Wicked, which revolves around the unlikely bond between two contrasting witches.

The show itself is a adaptation of the twentieth-century children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who plays the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was adorned in a champagne pink glittering gown at the event while Erivo, who acts as the villainous character, wore a sleek black dress featuring roses.

They were accompanied by fellow actor Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the most successful movie of 2024 in the UK, and earned 10 Academy Award nods, winning a pair for outstanding attire and set decoration.
